Jens Sætter-Lassen was born in 1986 in Denmark as the son of actor Søren Sætter-Lassen and actress Vibeke Hastrup. He graduated from The Danish National School of Performing Arts in Copenhagen in 2011.
He has performed on stage at The Royal Theatre and other well known theaters and is appearing on various TV series, among them in his leading role in Ole Bornedals TV series ‘1864’.
Jens Sætter-Lassen also appeared in season one of the TV series ‘Gidseltagningen’ (‘Below the Surface’) in 2017 and in 2019 ‘Sygeplejeskolen’ (‘Nurse’). He is playing the role of ‘Jesper Duelund’ in the widely popular Danish TV series ‘Badehotellet’ (2016-2019).
In 2021, Sætter-Lassen is in the TV series ‘Fars Drenge’ for Discovery+, and he'll be premiering in the role as a World War II freedom fighter in Ole Bornedal’s ‘Skyggen i mit Øje’ (‘Shadows in My Eyes’) and the family feature film, ‘Familien Jul 3’. In 2022, Jens Sætter-Lassen is also part of the cast for the third season of the popular crime series ‘Sommerdahl’ (‘The Sommerdahl Murders’).
On january 2023 Sætter-Lassen premeries with new Danish drama documentary 'Matadorene' on Danish National TV - he stars as the young historical Danish entrepreneur C. F. Tietgen. Currently, Jens stars in the leading role in the new Danish feature film 'Mulm'.
